Privacy Policy

🔒 Nothing leaves your device

Shrinkiva reads, compresses and saves your PDFs on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is uploaded. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising identifier and no server of ours. The only network activity is Apple's own App Store, when you buy or restore the one-time unlock.

Overview

Shrinkiva ("the app"), published by Essex Software, LLC, makes PDF files smaller and optionally resizes their pages. This Privacy Policy explains what the app does — and does not — do with your files and your data. Its App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

Your Files

What We Do NOT Collect

Purchases

The one-time Lifetime Unlock is sold through Apple's App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the payment and holds the purchase record; we do not see your payment details. The app keeps a note on the device that the unlock is active so it can work offline, and the free-tier count (files per month) is stored on the device only.

Third Parties

There are no other third parties. We do not share, sell or rent any data, because we have none.

Links Out of the App

Settings contains links to our other apps and to essexsoftware.com. Tapping one opens the App Store or Safari; the app itself does not fetch anything from those sites.

Your Rights

International Users

Because no data leaves the device, the app complies with GDPR, CCPA and similar regulations by design.

Children's Privacy

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 — or from anyone else.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

If a future version of the app ever sends data anywhere, this page will say so first, with an updated "Last Updated" date, and the App Store privacy label will change with it.
