What you can do

📊

Merge Excel workbooks

Drop .xlsx or .xls files in any order, drag to reorder, click Merge. Stacks the first sheet of each workbook into a single output.

📋

Mix CSV and text in too

Excel, CSV and .txt files can go into the same merge. Pick the output format that fits.

🧹

Skip headers & dedupe

Skip the header row on files 2+ so columns line up once, and remove duplicate rows with one checkbox.

No upload wait

Runs locally on your computer. No queue, no upload bar, no row caps. Often faster than the online tools.

🔒

Private by design

Your files stay on your device from start to finish. Turn off your Wi-Fi and the merge still works.

📱

Nothing to install

Works in the browser you already have — on desktop, laptop, or phone. No account, no download.

Common questions

Does it keep my formulas and formatting?

Cell values are preserved. Charts, macros, conditional formatting, and merged cells are not carried over — the output is a clean, single-sheet workbook of your data.

How many workbooks can I merge at once?

There is no fixed cap — hundreds of everyday workbooks merge in seconds. Very large batches are limited by your device's memory; if you routinely combine multi-gigabyte batches, the desktop app is built for that.

Do my spreadsheets get uploaded?

No. The merge runs on your own computer. You can verify it: disconnect from the internet and the tool keeps working.

Can I merge Excel and CSV files together?

Yes — drop them into the same list and choose the output format you want. Column layouts are stacked in file order.

Merging thousands of files at a time?

This page is built for everyday merges. For multi-gigabyte batches and folder-scale jobs on a schedule of their own, the Bulk File Merger desktop app for Windows and Mac picks up where the browser leaves off.
