Turn off your Wi-Fi. It still works.
That's how you know your files never leave your device. (The optional email-verify step sends only your email address — never the file itself. Details below.)
DocuSign, HelloSign, Adobe Sign, every online "free" signer — they all upload your files to a server. We don't. Run the test yourself.
When exactly can I disconnect?
The file content never touches the network — at any point. The only network calls this page ever makes are:
- Initial page load — to download the page + crypto libraries. After that, everything is cached for offline use.
- Email verification (optional) — only if you click "Verify email," the page sends your email address to our server so we can mail you a confirmation link. The server never sees your file.
Strict-paranoid mode: turn off Wi-Fi before you open the file. Skip email verification (use self-attested). Your file never even has the opportunity to touch a network.
Verified-email mode: stay online through the email-verify step (server sees your email only), then disconnect. Your file is signed locally.
